You're the part of me that makes me better wherever I go [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image: url(http://i45.tinypic.com/11spic7.jpg); width: 388px; padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 20px;] "So, umm, Hi... I'm Josephine Alessandra Rutherford, but you can call me Josie, erm, that is, if you'd like to? I'm seventeen years old and obviously a girl, but I've been told that I'm really shy...
I really don't like confrontations, and I'll do just about anything to avoid them, that includes completely altering my own path to divert things. I don't have many, well any, friends to really count on other than my horses... Don't get me wrong or anything, it's just I know my horses won't judge me... You're judging me now, aren't you? Oh, I knew I shouldn't have said that! I hope you don't mind that I'm going to go over there now...."
Josephine Alessandra Rutherford is a very quiet girl who, in all honesty, would rather not speak with another person if she's given an opportunity. She's rather bright and does fairly well in school, but she tends to stick to the back of the class rooms and avoid any and all attention. Josie spent two years of her life with speaking a single word and has been through the ringer over that. One reason why she is so reluctant to speak is because she learned at an early age how much lying can hurt She hates attention so much so that it's a fault and would rather disappear within her surroundings than to be recognized and acknowledged.
If someone can get her to talk, she mostly talks about her horses and riding. She once held the dream of training top level dressage horses, but she realized that with that she'd be forced to speak almost non-stop and people would no longer let her hide in the shadows. She's not sure now exactly what she's going to pursue as a career, but has taken to equine veterinary research.
Josie has been around horses her entire life and competes in the second highest level of dressage, her dream, however, to compete in the prestigious Grand Prix level. With her thoroughly classical background, Josie has learned how to ride just about every other discipline. She hated side saddle for all it was worth, and can only tolerate a lot of the western sub-disciplines, but she also fell in love with hunter jumper, and on occasion, three-day eventing. She had a pretty nasty fall when she was 11 on a downward bank and got a slightly bad taste for the courses.

ooh, this looks good for hazel. she is stubborn, arrogant, and pretty much anything bad. she would probably argue with josie at first, but josie probably wouldn't talk back, so hazel would just keep yapping on. they would probably end up being friends, because josie might make hazel see that sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut, whereas hazel could teach josie a thing about speaking and standing up for yourself in your own defence.
if you want to thread, i already have an open thread done with her, another person posted in it, but maybe josie comes along, and watches them, as they are doing cross country, and she doesn't like the courses.

That sounds like it could really work out. I can see Josie out walking the cross country course to take in all of the jumps for when she plans to take Mozart out for some schooling when she gets caught. I'll try and post after class before I have to run out to the barn and then go to rehearsal, but if not, I'll post tonight once I get home.

Skylar&&Josie: i dunno. skylar's kind of the one who's rich, and often has a boyfriend. she kinda talks a lot, and rides western. what do you think?
Caden&&Josie. i see caden hating josie. if you haven't been on a forum with caden yet, she's a bitch, and she's picky about riding, even others. what if josie didn't know about this famous-across-the-nation girl, and caden got pissed off?

Josie and Skylar;; Hmm... Josie herself rides western when she gets the chance. She has competed with her horse Mozart in reining, western riding, competitive trail, and cowboy mounted shooting, so she does ride western on occasion. Perhaps once Josie comes out of her shell, the two could form an odd sort of friendship? One of those one-sided ones where one does all the talking and decision making and the other just follow.
Josie and Caden;; I could see that completely tearing Josie apart. She hates confrontation and would feel like the world was going to fall apart because someone hated her. Since Josie doesn't really leave her circle of herself and her horses, I can see her being completely clueless and scrambling to get away at the same time. I have a post up in the Jumping Arena if you'd like to get those two going?
